◊ Why should we choose a Steiner education?
Parents appear to be searching for a values and spiritually based education that delivers a high level of educational rigour while preserving the integrity of childhood. Our educational philosophy recognises both the spiritual values of each individual, while delivering a whole person education that ‘feeds’ the intellect, the emotional life and is experience-based learning.

◊ Is there a place for my child?
Currently the waiting list is closed for children born between 1997
and 2004. Children born between 1993 and 1996 would be placed
on a waiting list. There are places available for children born
between 1988 and 1992.

No.

◊ Can I come and visit the school/teacher?
We ask that you do not just pop in to the school as this would be too disruptive to our pupils. We hold a special character talk once a month and you are more than welcome to book into one of these.

◊ What is a Special Character Talk?
This is where the school’s philosophy and Steiner education in general is explained. They are held every month and are a requirement of the enrolment process. To book, please phone the office on (03) 337 0514.

TERM ONE – 104 half days / 11 weeks
Wednesday 2 February to Friday 15 April
Waitangi Day - Sunday 6 February 
Good Friday - Friday 22 April (in holidays)
Easter Sunday - Sunday 24  April (in holidays)
Easer Monday - Monday 25 April (in holidays)

TERM TWO – 108 half days / 11 weeks
Monday 2 May to Friday 15 July
Queens Birthday - Monday 6 June

TERM THREE – 100 half days / 10 weeks
Monday 1 August to Friday 7 October 


TERM FOUR – 68 half days / 7 weeks
Monday 25 October to Friday 9 December
Labour Day - Monday 24 October (in holidays)
Show Day - Friday 11 November
