to the school on a student

Do I have to speak
fluent English to enrol at the
school?
You must understand that your
English will need to be of a
standard that will make your
time spent in New Zealand
beneficial. As a guideline,
on the International Language
Testing System (IELTS) a band 5
would be the minimum (1 being
the lowest result possible and
9 being the best result
possible).

◊
Do I have to follow the
school rules?
Of course! You are expected
to follow the rules as other
students do; you are also
liable for the same
disciplinary procedures as
other students.

Christchurch Rudolf Steiner

What happens if I
don’t like my homestay
family?
Some students want to change
homestay after one week! It
often takes at least one month
to feel relaxed in a
homestay. Often a problem can
be solved by just talking about
it – we can work with you to
resolve any issues you may have
with your family.
