Our
aspiration is to manage our school on a non hierarchical basis. This
means all staff are in an equal relationship to the development and
direction of the school. All teachers are part of the College of
Teachers. They create the vision and aspirations for the future whether
it is a new school initiative or a strategic plan.
| The
Daily Management of the school is facilitated by the College Principal
Group. All systems, and managerial processes are run by this group and,
as an integrated State school, is answerable to the Board of Trustees
and to the Ministry of Education. The school Principal is part of this
group. |

The Principal becomes a focus point for parents and the community, and
while there are statutory obligations to fulfil, the position is not,
in our ideal, an autocracy often advocated by normal school structures. |
