About

The Christchurch Rudolf Steiner School Trust, also called “the Proprietor” is Guardian of the school's special character through the integration agreement with the Ministry of Education,  and legal owner of the School and Kindergarten site and buildings. In this function it maintains and develops the physical environment of the School and Kindergarten.

The Proprietor is a registered charitable trust established with the integration of the school in 1989. The Trust is a voluntary group and meets monthly. Members are co-opted and are generally people committed to Rudolf Steiner education and its anthroposophical background.

Thanks to the special character donation, the Proprietor are able to maintain and improve the Steiner experience of our children, particularly the special character and the physical environment.
