About
The Community Association
Harnessing community energy, let’s create nice things together.
We are a body of enthusiastic parents and staff who assist the school in covering extra costs not already covered by fees or government funding.
Recently we upgraded the sound desk in the school hall. We made cooking room improvements and purchased cafeteria equipment for future fundraising. We gave the school library a freshen up with new furnishings and contributed to Kindergarten landscaping.
As a group we oversee our eagerly anticipated annual Spring fair. This is a rewarding community endeavour full of the magic of fairyland, amazing craft and food stalls while accompanied by great music and student performances.
All members of the school community are welcome to attend our monthly meetings and encouraged to support our fundraisers.
Joining the community association grows our sense of belonging and cements our commitment to our children's education. It is a wonderful way to be actively involved and make social connections with parents and teachers.
Come and see how you can support our up coming plans for creative outdoor play spaces and classroom resources. Join us !

Raffle 2026
Kia ora whānau!
Our Christchurch Rudolf Steiner School Community Association Raffle 2026 is here!
We have a fantastic collection of prizes up for grabs this year, generously donated by local businesses, families, and friends of our school.
A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed a prize, your generosity is what makes our raffle possible, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
The raffle is one of the Community Association's biggest annual fundraisers. The money raised goes straight back into our school community, helping fund many of the "nice to haves" that make school life richer for our children.
CA fundraising helps pay for all sorts of extras around our school — from instruments and wellbeing initiatives to classroom and kindergarten resources, community events, tents for adventures, football goals, our much-loved pizza oven, and plenty of other good things that make our school community so special.
A huge thank you again to our wonderful prize donors, and to all our school families for getting behind the raffle, selling tickets and helping make it a success.
We have top seller prizes, so additional tickets can be sourced from the office or by emailing Amy at crss2026class@gmail.com.
School families: Please return all ticket stubs with money and unsold ticket books to the office by October 16th, end of week 1, term 4.
Good luck and happy selling!
