Your Space Pilates

Hi, I am Mary owner/instructor of Your Space Pilates.
I love Pilates because it is the pathway that leads me back to being comfortable in my own skin and at peace in my mind. Our bodies and minds are the only places we have to live in. Make them truly be your own.
My goal with Your Space Pilates is to create spaces for you to feel the freedom and happiness that comes from freeing your body & mind from stress and tension and in its place, building strength.
I can teach you live online from my home in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is easy to get connected through Zoom from almost anywhere in the world. Or, if you live in Christchurch come to The Studio in Ferrymead or one of my community classes in Opawa and St Albans.
I am very excited to be offering Mat and Seated Pilates classes at Te Ara Sophia.

Mat Pilates Classes will strengthen your Power House. The deep core muscles that lift and support your spine.
When you are connected to your Powerhouse each exercise in the mat sequence will both stretch and strengthen your body. You will be working all the muscles of your body uniformly, giving you a complete workout.
Your mind will be completely engaged with directing your body. It is a wonderful way to practice mindfulness.
By adding a Pilates session to your day you will unburden your body of tension, creating in its place the space for happiness to flow in.
Seated Pilates: Get all the benefits of strengthening your POWERHOUSE without having to get down to the floor to work out on a mat. Using the principles of Pilates you will safely stretch and strengthen your body while also improving your balance. With a strong, supple, stable body, you will: Be in control, confident, to enable you to keep doing all the things you love.

Mat classes are $150 for a term of 10 classes or $20 casual. Discount for 65 Yrs + $120 for 10. You can use the classes at the in-person classes or my online zoom classes. Online classes are a wonderful way to stay connected if you do have any cold or flu symptoms keeping you at home.
